River joined BAPTI in 2022 as Executive Director and transitioned to the Administrative Director role in 2024. They work closely with the other Directors, Associates, Supervisors, Board members, and our community of licensed clinicians to deliver high-quality training for pre-licensed therapists in a private practice incubator environment, and affordable and responsive therapy for the community.

River also serves as an Associate Therapist at Blue Oak Therapy Center in Berkeley and through the Wellness Center at Laney College in Oakland. They are an accomplished leader with over 25 years of experience working with nonprofit and philanthropic organizations, and a highly skilled experiential educator and group facilitator.
