I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with more than 15 years of experience working in nonprofits, social and legal services, and hospital-based care. Much of my work has centered on social justice, and I bring that lens into the therapeutic relationship by creating space for safety, trust, and connection. I support clients in exploring how their experiences, including those carried across generations, shape the challenges they face today.
As a trauma-trained therapist, I help clients reduce symptoms while also understanding the deeper roots of emotional pain and psychological distress, including how these experiences can show up in the body. My approach focuses on helping you regain a sense of empowerment and control, strengthen your capacity for resilience, and reconnect with a grounded sense of belonging and care.
I work with adults, teens, and children ages five and up. Whether someone is navigating stress, loss, relationship concerns, or big transitions, I aim to offer a steady, supportive space where growth feels possible. Clients often describe me as open, attuned, and genuine, someone who can sit with the hard emotions and still share moments of humor along the way.
My practice, SomaWorks, is rooted in the belief that the body is an essential pathway to healing. By tuning into the body’s signals and responses, we create opportunities for deeper understanding and meaningful change.
